In this time of heightened national security, the Homeland Security Administration now requires ‘Transportation Worker Identification Credentials’ (TWIC™ cards) for workers in shipyards and other industrial facilities located in maritime areas of the country.
As Local Lodge No. 7 Boilermakers work in these facilities, we provide the following information regarding TWIC cards:

There is an approximate turnaround of between six to eight weeks from enrollment to TWIC card activation. To begin the enrollment process online, please visit the TWIC website.
To add TWIC information to a MOST-BDS profile, please submit card copies to Dan DeCarlo.
Please note: Effective May 16, 2013 the Buffalo, NY enrollment center has transition to a new enrollment provider as part of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Universal Enrollment Services (UES) initiative; however the Lackawanna location has not changed.
Lackawanna appointments can only be scheduled by calling 855.DHS.UES1 (855.347.8371); Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST.
TWIC payments (via check or money order) should be made payable to ‘MorphoTrust USA;’ Card Replacement and Extended Expiration Date (EED) services should be payable to ‘Lockheed Martin’.
